The Southern Oregon Kite Festival

The SOKF is held every year on

the third weekend in July (July 21/22 2012). Food, drink and arts & crafts

vendors will be on site. Some of the

best kite flyers in the world will be performing and you'll see some of the

most exotic and unique kites made.

Whether you're young or young at

heart, this is an event for ALL ages.

Many of the kite flyers perform

choreographed routines to music,

and the best of them are National

Champions. You'll see teams, pairs
and individual fliers performing,

from all over the U.S. and Canada.

Pirates of the Pacific Festival

HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Let it be known
to all that a pirate gathering will be

taking place at the Port of Brookings-Harbor, Oregon.

The event will be a three-day

excursion, beginning on Friday,

July 27, from noon to 9 pm,

Saturday July 28. from 10 am

to 9 pm, and Sunday July 29,

2012, from noon to 5 pm.

What arrr ye going to see there,

you might asks? Plenty of fun

and frivolity, says we!
